Fish Across Texas was formed by Shane Wilson and Danno Wise for the purpose of introducing anglers to the many wonderful fishing venues in Texas and helping these same anglers build their skill level so they can better enjoy these fisheries. Both Shane and Danno are experienced tournament anglers and fishing instructors who have fished across the state of Texas and beyond.

Shane Wilson has been fishing with both conventional and fly fishing gear for nearly 40 years. He holds an IGFA fly fishing world record and has many other accomplishments in the sport fishing industry. Shane has patented and designed several items that are currently being sold through catalog and retail sporting good chains. He grew up in the mid-west but has fished in every state, excluding Hawaii, and throughout most of the Canadian provinces. He moved to Texas over a decade ago and quickly established his reputation in the saltwater environment. He has appeared on television, in countless magazines and on several radio shows. Shane has conducted fly-fishing and fly tying classes and seminars and his presentation style is extremely entertaining and informative. He is married to Stephanie and they share their home on South Padre Island with two semi-friendly dogs.

A native Texan, Danno Wise has spent a lifetime fishing both fresh and saltwater across Texas and the Southeastern United States. Over the years, he has spent time on the water in every bay system and most every major reservoir in the Lone Star State, as well as various smaller bodies of water. Danno relocated from the Upper Texas Coast to the Lower Texas Coast in 1994. Since then, he has spent time guiding anglers on the Lower Laguna Madre, as well as working as an outdoor writer, artist, and photographer. Danno's work has appeared in numerous local, state, regional and national publications. Additionally, he conducts a variety of fishing seminars and classes each year. Currently, Danno lives in Port Isabel with his wife, Marisa, and their two children, Marina and Dagan.
